This model is veryclear design. The blade shape is "T-HONZUKURI". It is Tanto-convex grind. As you know, we are making to the "Tanto" blade shape as a CHI model. But, this blade shape is "T-SHINOGIZUKURI". That means straight grind.However, we were completed "Tanto-Honzukuri" with ROCKSTEAD special technologies. This handle materials are different from front and back. Front side is carbon fiber. Back side is titanium. This is very light and good balance.

The handle is a combination of Dark Matter Black FatCarbon for the presentation scale with a titanium frame lock, allowing for excellent weight and balance. It may not look like your prototypical Rockstead, but the REN is one of the best-performing knives produced anywhere in the world.
With proper maintenance, Rocksteads are known to keep a sharp edge for 2-3 years. Rockstead Knives do come with free sharpening and regrinding. You would be responsible for shipping charges to and from Japan.
