Material Overview

CPM 154 is the powder metallurgy version of the classic 154CM stainless steel, produced by Crucible Industries. The CPM process refines the carbide structure, improving toughness, edge stability, and consistency compared to conventional 154CM. It offers a balanced performance profile with good corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening, making it popular in both production and custom knives where reliability and ease of maintenance are important.
