Material Overview

14C28N is a stainless steel developed by Sandvik (now Alleima) specifically for knife applications. It was engineered to provide a refined balance of corrosion resistance, edge stability, and ease of sharpening. With nitrogen addition improving corrosion resistance and edge stability, it performs exceptionally well for everyday use. While it does not match high-end powder steels in edge retention, it is highly regarded for its user-friendly maintenance and consistent performance.

Advantages
