My name is Jean-Louis Regel, I am born on Reunion Island in the Indian Ocean. I now live in France in the Burgundy region. My passion for knives began in my childhood.

In 2003 I start forging and very quickly I decide to devote myself to the making of Wootz. It all took off for me when I met Joe Keeslar and discovered ABS in 2010 … I passed my JS in 2013 and the MS in 2015.

Since then, I have continued to expand my knowledge, such as sculpture and engraving, in order to embellish my knives. Cutlery allowed me to meet beautiful people, to materialize my dreams and to express myself artistically.
